Naurica Encarnación (she/her) an Afro-Latina with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Emory University dedicated to equitably implementing environmental solutions that empower thriving communities. Her work is guided by anti-racist teachings and a commitment to addressing the defining challenge of our time: climate change. Naurica thrives in collaborative spaces, and brings authenticity to every interaction. Whether brainstorming innovative ideas or launching impactful projects, she's driven by a passion for growth and connection. As a postbac within the Community-Soil-Air-Water (CSAW) learning ecosystem housed within the Geosciences Department at Georgia State University, Naurica's eagerness to contribute her skills and energy to community-centered research and solutions prioritizing equity has only grown.
