Christopher Herrington
Since 2021, Christopher has been the Director of the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, responsible for 1000 employees providing stormwater, wastewater, solid waste, and capital facility construction management for 1.1 million residents in the County of Fairfax, Virginia. He also serves on the Board of Directors for DC Water responsible for water, stormwater, and wastewater services for the US capitol region. Prior to joining Fairfax County, he was the Environmental Officer for the City of Austin, Texas.
